SATRAX beam forming technology can be applied to transmit and receive applications in frequencies which range between 1-100 GHz.

Our initial focus is to manufacture a Ku-band antenna for broadband video reception. The above video shows Lab demonstrator which proofs the functionality for 10-12 GHz reception. This lb demonstrator was fabricated under the ANASTASIA and Flysmart projects (2004-2008); a collaboration between the Nationaal Lucht- en Ruimtevaartlaboratorium (NLR) and University Twente Telecommunication Engineering group .

The main challenges in product development are on-chip integration and miniaturization. These challenges are addressed in the Point One R&D Program which will result in an initial prototype system in the course of 2013.
